For video, audio and bigger creative files

Sell large digital downloads with customer-only access

Your video packs, audio libraries and high-resolution resources need more than a public download link. Show customers a preview, sell through your storefront and keep purchased files in their account.

File limits, storage, and monthly cost

Choose by your largest delivery file and the storage your catalog needs. These are configured plan allowances, not measured upload speeds or a guarantee of every transfer. A GiB is 1,073,741,824 bytes.

Make a large download feel straightforward

Choose the right file allowance, prepare a useful preview and test delivery from your customer's point of view. The file may be large; the next step should still be clear.

Choose room for the files you sell

Compare your largest individual file and the storage your catalog needs. A bundle's total size and each file's size are different limits.

  • Read the current per-file and storage allowances above.
  • Check file-count limits and accepted formats before uploading.

Upload without one enormous request

Large uploads are sent in parts, with retry and resume support in the upload workflow. The file is checked before it becomes available to use.

  • Follow the upload status through completion before attaching the file to your offer.
  • Test your actual file and connection; the plan allowance is a ceiling, not a transfer-speed guarantee.

Preview the value, not the full download

A short trailer or audio sample can help customers understand what they are buying. Keep that public preview separate from the files included with a purchase.

  • Use a browser-compatible preview that is easy to watch or hear.
  • Give customers a clear description of the full files and their requirements.

Let customers return for their files

Buyers access purchased files through their account. Supported downloads can use range and resume requests; compatible purchased audio and video can also play in the browser.

  • Customer access is checked before a fresh, short-lived delivery link is issued.
  • Earlier purchases keep their purchased file bundle when you replace files for future sales.

Questions before you choose

Can I sell a file larger than 5 GB?

Yes, the paid plans have per-file allowances above 5 GB. Compare the exact limits above with each file, not just the total bundle size. The upload must also fit your remaining site storage and the accepted format list.

Can I sell a 20 GB download?

A single 20 GB file exceeds the Entry and Operator per-file allowances; Advanced has the required per-file capacity. This compares plan limits, not a demonstration of your exact file, connection or browser. Test the intended upload and customer download before launch.

Does a public preview expose the purchased file?

No. Use a separate public preview to explain the offer. Purchased delivery files require customer-authorized access. This is access control, not DRM: it cannot prevent a buyer redistributing a file after downloading it.

Will replacing a file update every earlier purchase?

No. Earlier purchases keep the file bundle attached to their purchase. Replacing the bundle changes future sales, not what previous customers bought. Do not advertise automatic lifetime updates unless you have separately arranged that workflow.

A few details before you launch

Plan capacity, successful upload and a successful customer download are different checks. Make all three part of your launch preparation.

Test the complete bundle

Multiple delivery files are supported within the plan limits. The completed live purchase verification covered one file; check the full bundle you intend to sell rather than treating that as proof of every larger offer.

Check formats and playback

Uploads must use an accepted format and fit finite storage limits. Browser playback also depends on the file's codec. Automatic transcoding and adaptive bitrate playback are not included.
